“Mysteria”, Virus Is No Joke and No Supper.

Kathy must have really been tired when she went to bed last night because she was asleep when I followed her Fifteen Minutes later. I was up and about by 8:00 and Kathy slept quite a bit longer this morning.

After breakfast was over we settled back in at our Computers. Even though I have attempted to call my aunt recently I’ve been unsuccessful. Around 10:00 this morning I was surprised when she called us. Now that our area is into Phase 3 of the Coronavirus Recovery the local Nursing and Retirement Homes have finally opened to visitors. Today was also the first day that she has been allowed to wander the halls of the building as long as she wears a Mask.

She told me that I would have to call to make an appointment with her so I did. The Duty Nurse informed me that I had to call the Office Manger to make the appointment and she didn’t work ~~Weekends~~. Even if we visit outside we still need to make an appointment but if we want to visit outside her window no appointment is necessary. We’ll be seeing her tomorrow.

For lunch we had Baked Beans on Toast along with Grapes, a Rice Crispy Square and a Yogurt Cup for dessert.

Because our Humidex was at the Century Mark we spent more time on the Computers before Kathy suggested watching the movie “Mysteria” with Danny Glover. She even made Popcorn for us to snack on. This was not your normal Mystery movie with a number of twists and turns with an ending that is unbelievable. We gave it a 7 out of 10.

We then decided to see what was being covered on CNN. The first story was about a family from Mesa Arizona who at the onset of the Virushad been following all the rules of Social Distancing, wearing Masks when out and staying Home most of the time. When the rest of the country started opening up 36 year old Ryan Sandstrom left his Mask at home thinking the worst was over. Three Days later he was in trouble. After being diagnosed with Covid 19 he had to Self Isolate like many others have done from the rest of his family in their home saving the Hospital Beds for more severe cases. Many times his wife would look in his room uncertain if he was still alive. After nearly Three Weekshe was finally able to see the rest of his family. It affected his Lungs and his Heart. His message to everyone is to continue wearing Masks because this Virusis no joke and is still out there.

Again our 6 o’clock Local News was preempted by a Golf Tournamentso we’ll be watching the 11 o’clock Newsout of London. Because our activity level was low and we had that Popcornas a snack neither of us needed supper. Thankyou for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
